This policy explains how MixHub handles personal information when you use the Platform to browse, book, and manage construction material supply from participating Suppliers.

Platform Terms

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into the MixHub Terms and Conditions. MixHub may share personal and order information with the relevant Supplier where needed to facilitate a Booking.

1. About this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MixHub Pty Ltd (ACN 697 637 059) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you access the MixHub platform, including the MixHub website, mobile application, Booking Channel, and related services.

This policy should be read with the MixHub Terms and Conditions. Defined terms in those Terms have the same meaning here unless the context requires otherwise.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when registering for an account or placing a Booking, including your name, contact details, business or trading details, billing details, delivery details, tax information, and order requirements.

We collect Booking and transaction information needed to operate the Platform, including Supplier, delivery address, delivery session, Goods specification, confirmed price, payment status, changes, cancellation requests, dispute records, and support requests.

We may collect Booking Channel communications, including messages and call recordings made through the Booking Channel call function, for quality assurance, dispute resolution, and platform improvement.

We may collect technical and usage information about your use of the Platform, including device, browser, log, security, and analytics information.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to operate the Platform, register and manage accounts, facilitate Bookings, identify Suppliers in Booking Confirmations, open and maintain the Booking Channel, process payments as agent for Suppliers, issue transaction records, and provide support.

We also use information to investigate billing questions, facilitate dispute resolution, maintain Booking Channel Records, prevent fraud and misuse, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, improve the Platform, and maintain platform security.

Aggregated, de-identified, and anonymised transaction data may be used for platform improvement, pricing optimisation, demand analysis, and commercial purposes.

4. Sharing information with Suppliers

To facilitate your Booking, MixHub will share with the relevant Supplier the personal and order information necessary to fulfil the Booking, including your name, contact number, delivery address, and order details.

Suppliers are required under their Supplier Agreement with MixHub to handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy law.

5. Other disclosures

We may disclose personal information to service providers that help us operate the Platform, process payments, provide communications, host systems, support customers, and maintain security.

We may disclose Booking Channel Records and related information to the relevant Supplier, legal representatives, dispute resolution bodies, courts, regulators, law enforcement authorities, or other parties where reasonably required for dispute resolution, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or enforcement of our rights.

6. Retention and access

MixHub will maintain the Booking Channel Record for at least 24 months from the date of the Booking. You may access the Booking Channel Record through your account for the duration of your account's active status.

We may retain account records, transaction records, Booking Channel Records, and related information as required for legal, regulatory, operational, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and record-keeping purposes.
